Barrel Friendly Breakfast Cake Stout

I have a local friend I wanted to brew with and he wanted something special. A wide-awake version of my birthday cake stout that he could transfer to oak bourbon barrels. To this day he is still using the 5 gallon batch and stuffing coconut into it.

Update 4/27/2022 – Yep still adding coconut, now 3lbs of it is in a 1 gallon batch that is left.

Choco Porter

A great recipe I previously brewed. Using EKG and Cascade hops. It is a great flavor and has pleased the crowds around here in Orange. I rounded out the roasted barley and this came out quite interesting. This beer won an award for 3rd place in the Windsor Classic 2023 for Stouts and Porters on table 7.

A new year deserves a new beer. I was able to get this recipe together after the celebrations died down and I brewed this with a lot of enthusiasm. This would help me celebrate brewing for 3 years just about every week. A fitting beer to start the year off.

Coffee Sauce

Hankering for another coffee golden stout, I had a small rest from brewing every Friday and brewed on a Sunday with the looming Holidays. This allowed me to make another beer with some coffee, vanilla, and cocoa nibs.

Pillow Talk V2

I make lagers due to the extra 45 degree areas in my fridge. I usually have two ales fermenting at a time. I am fortunate to be able to have this ability and I trade off between Bock lagers and Pilsner style lagers. This one is made with Hallertau hops.

Golden Candy

I’m a fan of Belgian Pale Ales. I have a bunch of Belgian beers that are on my favorites list. Diversity in all things is kind of a mantra of mine. Don’t get bored with your hobbies and your life will be full. I make a “Golden” Belgian Pale Ale and I use Belgian yeast to make this. Sweet and savory, this beer is sure to please.
